1. I stood weeping in the garden for the loss of its like,
Until my eyes made the flowers weep with my eyes.
2. If my eyelids had not lent it my tears that poured down,
My compassion would have borrowed rain from the clouds for it.
3. So who will question the weeping eyelids
That remained ceaselessly weeping without thought?
4. Until when the night let down the veil of its darkness,
And my eyelids helped its eyelids to stay awake.
5. Do not think little, O daughter of noble people,
If his clothes are worn and unpleasing to the eye.
6. When the patches on his clothes are many, between them
Is a sword that distinguishes between mansion and hut.
