فَالشَمسُ نَمّامَةٌ وَاللَيلُ قَوّادُ
2. How many a lover the night's darkness hides
As he visits his beloved while people sleep.
٢. كَم عاشِقٍ وَظَلامُ اللَيلِ يَستُرُهُ
لاقى أَحِبَّتَهُ وَالناسُ رُقّادُ
