1. We found negligent a lack of supervisor
And arose for the glance of a lover
١. قَد وَجَدنا لِغَفلَةٍ مِن رَقيبِ
وَشَرِقنا لِنَظرَةٍ مِن حَبيبِ
2. And we saw Him perfect of face and beautiful
So we found Him proof against sins
٢. وَرَأَيناهُ تَمَّ وَجهاً مَليحاً
فَوَجَدناهُ حُجَّةً في الذُنوبِ
