1. Let the weepers weep over the weeping one, O Abā Wahb,
In every condition of luxury or hardship.

2. O brother of peace, he does not grow weary when it comes to him.
And charge into embracing war.

3. So if after intimacy you have bid us farewell,
You were the excellent youth alive and in the riding party.

4. May Allah water a face the people erased its features,
Remaining steadfast while they passed heedlessly in tumult.
