1. What is his essence to you
Realize it and be it

2. O absent one in it
For how long do you turn away from it

3. You are absent and it is absent
To you, you come from it

4. And awaken o absent one
So understand, you are from its presence

5. To divinity a secret
So keep the secret and protect it

6. And on you a covenant taken
From the Lord, know it

7. And mighty is He in your
Self, beware disgracing Him

8. Non-existence you, and your Master existence
So witness it

9. God's ornament take it
From Him and bring it out, do not malign it

10. And on yourself who advises with truth, help him
And when the appointment of death trusts you

11. Leave it secret, do not betray it
And refer the matter to Him

12. Annihilate your selfhood completely in its presence
Your measure is the balance so act

13. And what you do, weigh it
