1. A sacred sanctuary for the Kaaba of my heart
Where my mind and heart have been enchanted

2. I roam seeking existence, only finding
Veils lowered by remoteness and nearness

3. And He is manifest in us and our spheres
If we tread the paths of love with Him

4. O my people's children, stand by our passions
And accompany us and share in our drinking

5. Gathering beauty for gazes to capture
I am an orient to His sun, so understand me

6. Never from Him does my being incline to set
I am my Lord in what I say, the All-Knowing

7. Wherever I was, He said "I am my Lord"
Every subtlety from His subtlety is borrowed

8. While He builds truth upon my being
My being was His being, so we became equal

9. In yearning to meet and relieve my troubles
She is a spirit breathed into my soul

10. And I roam with that blowing wind
And if I call seeking a matter

11. It is she, with that call, who responds
So know me through her and do not know her

12. Through me, for that is how I veil existence
