1. Faces multiply in the mirrors
And confuse every seer

2. Beings by His command
A wave on sheets of water

3. And the command is one
In it proximity and distance

4. All the worlds
In their appearance and disappearance

5. In swiftness and turmoil
Like gloom in the air

6. With the ink of the lights of the Face
Of God by the hand of the Most High

7. It was written by the Pen that
Is the door of the court of Giving

8. A Pen that has the number of creatures
Teeth of numbering and creation

9. It dyed the matrix of the Will
What appears on earth and in the heavens

10. O Innermost, He is the Outward
In every seal and inception

11. I and you are one
And two when doubled over

12. Who knows the Unknown to me
Known by all the saints

13. If absent from our ignorant ones
He is with us, filling the vessel

14. He who prospers suffers what he wills
With disease he came and with remedy

15. He is with pride in drinking bowls
And with grandeur in clothing

16. He is the companion, by His remembrance,
To the gnostics and in praise

17. Wealthy by Him who gave wealth and
We rejoiced in Him, not in song

18. And begin with every brisk
And pure wit and splendor

19. The hearts fell in love with Him
Not with lyrics in chamber

20. A moon dispelling our darkness
With its rising at dawn

21. Until we saw Him thereby
In every kind of light

22. A sun and all people are
In its lights like atoms

23. It rose and negated all else
And existence turned to extinction

24. Until He revealed in thickets
Of false the unknown of the wise

25. So He chose a people for misguidance
And us for guidance

26. And unveiling came with troops
And existence the battle flag

27. And the bodies of angels are drums
And the spirits pure air

28. And with the procession of angels surroundings
Faithful the King of Loyalty

29. How then can our minds
Not fade from bliss
