1. O one so full of longing and lament
Always in secret and openly

2. Went to complain of the estrangement of the inaccessible one
For he is needless of all description

So be aware of the heedlessness of oblivion

4. He has no place whatsoever in our religion
Neither time nor space

5. He was before the universe and he is as
He was, so perceive

6. If you seek you will be granted sight of him
According to what has come in the traditions

7. Cast off from yourself the self while he is with
You know the one deposited in the body

8. And listen and incline toward that one and do not
Occupy yourself with blaming the base

9. Everyone in the universe, when
You do not find them in him, is in tribulation
