That which comes from You, You granted us

6. The passionate lovers are confused in passion
And in You from others they became lost

7. To You hands of supplication turned
Your disheveled poor ones became lost

8. In Your love since it is the ultimate wish
Indeed from our branch came your root

9. And we are those whom your grace encompassed
And never can we match You

10. So Unique are You in Your Wealth
And in poverty no comrades like us

11. We perished with You, Everlasting
And from You did we hear the call

12. O You hidden from enemies' eyes
We saw You in every manifest thing

13. And nothing of the matter is ours
We are veiled by Your light and forgotten

14. And all mortals are doomed to perish
Loving You became my way of life

15. I concealed Your name in jealousy, behold
I confuse with prostrations and genuflections

16. My tears flowed in fear of abandonment
And my craving made my ribs blaze

17. And You are the One I perceive besides no other
If You are with me in every state

18. Then I have no need to carry provisions
Your way has always been our way

19. And in the garden of my heart Your birds nested
And the best of all mortals is Your best

20. For You are the Truth, none other
Would that I know who am I!
