1. You appeared, O Light, and the void was no more
So you shone from your rising, and darkness was over

2. And the secret of origination was seen in forms
With which eternity was clothed from of old

3. And the wave of the sea of existence was stirred
It is the Clear Book and the Word

4. We have a relation to Truth that appeared
By it there comes bliss or pain

5. O nation of Light, these ranks
Reveal the Essence, then are concealed

6. We and you and you two and they two
And she and he - all are Him

7. And there is no existence but derived
From His qualities from Him dividing

8. A face belonging to Him in one aspect, and a hand
Likewise an eye, a form, a mouth

9. And all that the revealed texts told of
And the judgment reason required of wisdom

10. Stop at them, O veil of His court
You are inscribed by their ink from Him

11. And be by them, not by other than them, and for them
Not for other than them, the confused will pass away

12. And know that existence, this, is He
And all else, it is nonexistence

13. He discloses His Essence and shows it
To Him and gives you other than Him fancy

14. And He in Himself, by Him and for Him
Inscribes us above the Tablet of the Pen

15. And in what passed and what is
To come, none but He, they are the covetous

16. God, God O my Unifier
For He is Beneficent and Avenger

17. And be in awe of Him and hopeful in Him
Afflictions will pass and favors come

18. And you will find none but Him finding Him
Other than Him is from you ignorance and blame

19. Who humbles himself to other, he but worships it
And that other to him is an idol
