1. We have only the unity of existence,
The unity of truth, so understand what we say.

2. The unity of God, the only unity,
Our great men have testified to this.

3. Whether we say existence or truth,
There is no difference for us, O ignorant ones.

4. Do not think that the existence we mentioned
Is the creation we have given.

5. It is the truth after annihilation from everything else
That reveals itself, so minds are dumbfounded.

6. That is why annihilation was a requirement for us
For the disciple, so that the truth descends in him.

7. It is the purification of souls from an impurity that
Has mixed in them from the dense wanderer.

8. The soul was stained when it was mixed with ignorance
And acceptance was absent from it.

9. It was also afflicted here by an event
From every meaning the proof is busy with.

10. Impurities prevent the praying person,
As do events when they come between.

11. So remove them between me and my Lord,
With the sciences of heaven the arrival will be.
