1. Three things it revolves around
Existence, truth, and light

2. And in phases we see
Stars and suns in their plight

3. The soul is like a millstone
And our bodies are like pots

4. And none but He
Who commands and conducts all lots

5. Many we are, One He is
With Him the avenger, forgiving

6. He revealed, we said guidance
He concealed, we said misleading

7. And He recites to us - and does
He recompense any but the ungrateful?

8. Behold the manifestations, the essences
Behold the essences, the manifestations

9. We thanked Him until
He was named the Thankful

10. And also we were patient through Him
So He came with the name the Patient

11. And none knew Him
Except the hearts within the breasts

12. By Allah, none denied Him
Except the evil bats of the caves
