1. Our Master is generous
He cares for the pious among us

2. And He has an eternal secret
In the hearts of the gnostics

3. Asa'd al-Bakri is safe and sound
His chest increased in certainty

4. He spoke and his words are beautiful
When he became faithful

5. And we have a great secret
With the Lord of the worlds

6. The lineage of the Prophet's friend
And the son of the best of creation

7. He won the high decree
And embraced glory and stature

8. He spoke words of praise
To the spiritual states, paying heed

9. Where the gentle breeze reached him
From the side of the first ones

10. And we have a great secret
With the Lord of the worlds

11. Indeed God has gifts
Not by effort and earning

12. That give the servant virtues
That cannot be counted

13. Dazzling to all creation
Opening the door of goodness

14. And a straight path
Said Bakri, heed us!

15. And we have a great secret
With the Lord of the worlds

16. The noble branch returned
To firm roots

17. And the graceful decree appeared
In the highest ranks

18. And the Subtle One recited
For He is the Giver of bounty

19. And He is the companion of Truth
Who attained the clear opening

20. And we have a great secret
With the Lord of the worlds

21. And from God are my prayers
And peace every moment

22. For the Prophet of virtues
Supreme in grace and skill

23. He is not pleased with gifts
From those tending towards the group

24. He spoke and his words are comprehensive
Since he ascended in law and religion

25. And we have a great secret
With the Lord of the worlds
