And excessive joy as well

3. The first glow of enlightenment appeared
And my heart glimpsed its flash

4. My love disappeared so for me
My longing for him grew wider

5. And I became obsessed with his love
Composing poems praising his beauty

6. The caller of passion calls
And my patience with him runs dry

7. Indeed for my beloved I yearn
While my critic persists in the opposite

8. Some faces remain ever dark
And some faces remain ever white
