1. Be a lover to the one who claims righteousness
And respect the patchwork of his sackcloth

2. And leave off suspicion and hesitation about him
And build a matter on the soundest foundation

3. And hold fast to what he claims and leave off
Any notion that would cast you into fetters

4. And be certain that righteousness is a sea
With abundant riches, whatever God wills He veils

5. And say the truth is from Him it returns while lies
Return to themselves without any confusion

6. Not to the one who loves the description of righteousness
There is no comprehension of him for the mind or senses

7. And suppress your accursed devil, enemy of God
In him and in you with evil suggestions

8. And ascertain that God does not let go waste
This one who is steadfast in Him

9. And reflect upon the dog of the Companions of the Cave
While he is a dog, from the impure

10. How through belief he attained favors
Unlike all dogs and wild beasts

11. He followed the people unknowingly in what they
Loved, and did not fear calamity

12. So God saw in him good
And granted him some of their light by assimilation

13. God coupled mention of him with them in
The decisive Qur'an, not by analogy

14. He too on the Day of Resurrection is in Heaven
With them, sweetening breath

15. So serve the righteous and remain steadfast in
What you are in, loving them and taking heed

16. And plant goodness in the poor, you will harvest
On the Day of Gathering, fruits of the saplings

17. And leave the evildoers miserable for them, what
A gang for corruption among people
