O my honor that He teaches me

يا شرفي بأنه يعلمني

1. O my honor that He teaches me
And that He spoke to me in the unseen

١. يا شرفي بأنه يعلمني
وأنه في الغيب بي كلمني

2. And He said to me "Be" and I hear Him
And only by His grace do I hear

٢. وقال لي كن وأنا أسمعه
وإنما بلطفه أسمعني

3. And here I am, fulfilling all that
For after my nonexistence, He brought me into existence

٣. وها أنا محقق لكل ذا
فإنه بعدمي حققني

4. O my honor, O my honor, O my honor
God is my Lord, truly He has honored me

٤. يا شرفي يا شرفي يا شرفي
الله ربي الحق قد شرفني

5. So here I am, annihilated in His knowledge
And in His speech, He has thus informed me

٥. فها أنا في علمه منعدم
وفي كلامه كذا أطلعني

6. It suffices me that His knowledge encompasses me
And that I am His soft, ripe speech

٦. حسبي بأني علمه الميحط بي
وأنني كلامه الغض الجني

7. And He is the true Existence, not an image
In Him, for Him, and I have no firmness

٧. وهو الوجود الحق ليست صورة
فيه له ولست بالتمكن

8. And there is none in Him but Him, from time
All that has appeared in time is from Him

٨. وليس فيه غيره من زمن
جميع ما منه بدا في الزمن

9. And He is not God, and I - forbid
That I say this in secret or openly

٩. ولا هو الله أنا حاشاي أن
أقول ذا في السر أو في العلن

10. For I am with me, and you are with you
And with Him there is nothing high or low

١٠. لأنني عندي أنا وعندكم
وعنده لا شيء عال ودني

11. God is my Lord, none but Him with Him
Not with us, so understand with the understanding of the keen minded

١١. الله ربي لا سواه عنده
لا عندنا فافهمه فهم الفطن

12. For this reason He revealed His speech
With His knowledge, to one who is concerned with this

١٢. من أجل ذا كلامه أنزله
بعلمه لمن بهذا يعتني

13. And God is eternal Knowledge and Speech
And He is our letters, for the sake of tribulation

١٣. والله علم وكلام أزلاً
وهو حروفنا لأجل الفتن

14. And whoever recognizes what I have said
Is like me, with certainty

١٤. وكل من يعرف ما قد قلته
فإنه مثلي على التيقن

15. And whoever is ignorant of this
Does not know God or the Self-Sufficient Worshipper

١٥. ومن يكن يجهل ذا فإنه
لا يعرف الله ولا عبد الغني
