1. O most beautiful in appearance through images
You came to us in the temple of mankind

2. Then when you were elevated
Beyond the reach of intellect and sight

3. What had happened from you was for us
By the decree of truth and destiny

4. Everything a sign appeared
A lesson for those who take heed

5. And all of creation examples
For the people of understanding and insight

6. My people's knowledge is all leaves
And my sciences in it like fruit

7. And my words to the knower of them
Its meaning is not hidden

8. Not in the meaning of incarnation or
Union O people of caution

9. I have a heart O existence decree
Increase what is in you of fervor

10. You are in us manifest forever
Like the sun's appearance in the moon

11. Or like the image revealing
The forms of leaves and trees

12. Or like a mirror reflecting
The images nearing it

13. Exalted is the face from you we are
A veil to it in mind and thought

14. And manifestation in the hearts of those
Free from the ignorance of souls

15. My people believed you appeared to them
In all benefit and harm

16. Your blessed face they accepted
And upon it all bowed like rain

17. They went out to existence as
The Chosen went out for rain

18. Then drew the bow from you came near
When the melody of the string rang out

19. They expanded from towards their heights
To purity from the rest of turbidity

20. On the straight path they are not in danger
And the straight path from it is in danger
