1. Greetings to the brothers in the presence of Jerusalem
And those whose traces are wiped out under the sun's glow

2. May God water days through them though they were brief
And nights of connection with joy and company

3. Passion has been concealed except from this folk, so my heart
Ascended to an absence of mind and senses

4. A throne of realization elevates its people
Above the highest throne and the Chair

5. I walked by night with it to the flutter of wishes
With me immersed in the Light beyond confusion's dress

6. The heaven of epiphany with Burāq I ascended
While I was absent from my dense body and soul

7. I will destroy what minds build for themselves
Of thoughts in the land of imaginings and guesses

8. Swiftly to the secrets of a noble soul
Above humankind, remote and subtle beyond genre

9. The beauty of the face captivated me and all are dying
And my knowledge transcended books and lessons

10. My happiness and joys are in my going beyond parity
And truly I, existence itself, am dependent on the Maker
