1. By the praise of Allah, the Inspirer
Who has removed our worries

2. And from Him we have been given abundance
And with guidance, He has blessed us

3. We started a journey that would
Conclude the affairs of this world

4. And we attained what we yearned for
And reached abundant rewards

5. With the brothers and loved ones
Of the most upright path

6. So we traveled from Damascus, the renowned
Journey of the eloquent compiler

7. To Jerusalem, the noble and splendid
With the most splendid view

8. And we visited the prophets and the
Saints whom glory serves

9. And by the name of Allah we traveled
And returned by His Greatest name

10. And we passed with goodness
And grieved over the noble vanguard

11. The tender spring was laughing
With a smiling blossom

12. And the meadows' flowers
Ignited longing in the perceiver

13. Whoever sees them profits
Dirhams and dinars

14. And perfume was known after
That in those regions it proliferates

15. And the rain pearls were strung
For the meadows' attire, adorned

16. And we traveled independently
Without following others' leads

17. Whenever we wanted a land
We stayed enjoying its meadows

18. With us we had what we needed
Of clothing, food and belongings

19. And when we intended travel
Not wavering or growing weary

20. We bid farewell to companions
And family and mahrams

21. And we prayed the dawn prayer
In the oldest revered mosque

22. Neighbors of our Umayyad abode
With a group it organizes

23. And we visited Yahya Al-Ra's
For various litanies we upheld

24. And the affectionate father
With whom there is mercy

25. And in Bab Al-Saghir we visited them all
As you know

26. And we visited Arslan the protector
The perfect, the wise

27. And whoever in his tomb was
Filled with that protection

28. And we visited Al-Aqsa Mosque
In it how many martyrs fell

29. And we visited Shaykh Muhyi Ad-Deen
For whom my heart is filled with passion

30. And groups Qasioun brought together
Among them, the greatest

31. We specified those we knew
And generalized the graves

32. Qumaini we indeed visited
And a sheikh who was his twin

33. That Sheikh Mahmoud
Whose memory I uphold

34. And the rest the slope contained
From Qasioun we required

35. Until we came to our Daraya
With my people and passion settled

36. And from Daraya we visited
Its great sheikhs

37. The dead and the living
And those my Lord of whom is most knowing

38. We lodged among peoples
Through whom the visitor profits

39. Until Sasa we came
And in it we reunited

40. And in the khan we stayed
Our provisions we ate

41. And we stayed then traveled
On horses that are tethered

42. We journeyed to Qanaytrah
Which did not remain intact from harm

43. And we came to its khan
Where we were generously hosted

44. And we came to Jacob's Bridge
When night had darkened

45. And above the river we dismounted
The pillar of the sturdy tent

46. On that gentle meadow
As those regions flourished

47. And we stayed there until
Dawn shone and steadied

48. In a Joseph-like pit that
Grew longing for us, fulfilled

49. From it, we drew delicious water
Sweet in taste in the mouth

50. And towards Minya Al-Uqwa
They journeyed with sealed fate

51. There we stayed in a meadow
Whose praise defies any blame

52. And in it is a pool but
Its water is the foulest

53. And we came at dawn to
The springs, their traders worried

54. And after noon we reached it
To find it most dry

55. And they said its sheikh had
Become of the enemies, blood-spilt

56. So we did not stay there until
We went to Al-Falah, preserved

57. And on a water-wheel we stayed
At the highest point of that divide

58. And we came at dawn to Jenin
Growing our longing, know

59. And dervishes came to meet us
Like the wave of the sea

60. And we stayed with an agent of
The honorable, wise ruler

61. And we stayed there three
Nights, living them enjoying

62. And we traveled after that until
We came to Ya'bad, assembling

63. And we stayed with the Sublime's Reformer
Exalted by whom he aspires

64. And we stayed at his place and dawn
Brought the clearest lights

65. Until Burqah we came
And from danger it protects

66. And in Nablus our horses halted
Those that honor

67. And we did not cease rising there
As my Lord's grace embraced all

68. At Ali Agha's we stayed, that
Most generous one

69. And how much in his presence
Of times that bring joy

70. We stayed five days
Neither saddened nor worried

71. And we were accompanied by delights
And witnessed blooming moons

72. And we traveled to Jamma'in
Of splendid beauty

73. Home of the Qudama family, people
Of virtue, all decisive

74. And we came to Ain Yabrud
Opening its sealed eye

75. And we headed to Jerusalem
The clear, upright

76. And pure souls came to meet us
Their fire kindled

77. And we stayed at the Sultaniyya
Loftiness that dispels sorrow

78. And notables came from that
Auspicious inhabited place

79. And we came to the noble rock
And that greatest scene

80. And we visited Al-Aqsa Mosque
And a light for guidance blazed

81. And how many scenes in it
That for my life atone for sin

82. And we visited Ain Sulwan
Its water akin to Zamzam

83. And David the Prophet we visited
And attained his wise son

84. Solomon the Prophet, peace be upon him
From whom he was exalted

85. And above Al-Tur we visited the pillar
The knowledgeable, most learned

86. And in Gethsemane we succeeded
With Mary's tomb therein

87. And we traveled to the Prophet Moses
Whom my Lord conversed

88. And we stayed a night therein
In company that honors

89. And we traveled to Hebron, it is
The disease and the cure

90. And we visited Khalil Allah (Abraham)
The inspired guide

91. And Isaac and Jacob
And Joseph of clear wisdom

92. And each facing his
People with the Teacher

93. And we saw lights
That dispel darkness

94. And in Jifna we visited
People of a mosque demolished

95. And from Kfar Birim is the tomb
Of Lot wherein he settled

96. And the cave of the prophets therein
And Abraham the reddish

97. And how many saints and mystics
Known and unknown

98. And how many sheikhs and ecstatics
From whom blessings we sought

99. And we visited Jesus' birth
In Bethlehem that witnessed

100. And we returned to Bayt Al-Maqdis
The splendid, radiant, blessed

101. And we bid it farewell as we tasted
Parting, bitter in taste

102. And we traveled after that, exalted
To Al-Birah, the noble

103. And we came to Sinjil, stayed there
As night darkened

104. And Nablus we came, for us
Sustenance therein allotted

105. And we stayed three nights
Without coercion therein

106. And we came to Qabatiya
Clarifying our confusion

107. And two days in Jenin we were
As anguish defeated us

108. And a third day we met
The noble, generous

109. Sharif Kamil who restores
Generosity that is unmatched

110. And we bid him farewell until
In their springs ease flowed

111. And we stayed then traveled at dawn
Seeing in Minya prosperity

112. At the khan therein
We stayed, no urging we saw

113. And after this we came to Sasa
Yearning for it drew us

114. To the valley of Damascus the renowned
With the most peaceful side

115. And we stayed then traveled at dawn
Seeing the star of Siraj adorned

116. So we came to the brothers
Whose longing cannot be concealed

117. And they met us with welcoming
And informed us of their state

118. And we reunited with our families
As my Lord honored the sublime

119. And Allah increased blessings
That always continued

120. And we attained His grace, record
The journey to His noble Jerusalem

121. And may Allah bless our Master
Muhammad and grant him peace

122. And all his family and companions
Whose traits are recounted
