1. The Eternal Truth I witnessed by the passing event,
And a strange youth encountered me, so he became familiar.

2. To Him belongs the greatest blessing over every event,
And familiarity of benevolence among us, and became familiar.

3. An ancient existence apparent to our minds,
And to the senses a single one without a second.

4. Transcendent is He beyond our transcendence, and sanctified
Are His knowledges among the creation beyond all knowing.

5. The heedless cover Him with their delusions,
So for them from Him is nothing but sheer deprivation.

6. And they denied the knowledge of God which came
To them from the foremost people, the people of certainty.

7. And that is from ignorance, and they are not excused by it,
And how can the excuse be valid in the law of the Merciful?

8. He is the Truth, His essence has no rear,
To everything beholder, and to Him yielder.

9. And say everything is perishing except His essence,
As the saying came about Him in the revelation of Quran.

10. To Him belongs the eternity of eternities in every rank,
To Him belongs the perpetuity of perpetuities without times.

11. He is referred to by all the meanings,
And every speech from every human.

12. And if there is no knowledge of this for a scholar,
And if weight of this does not stand on a scale.

13. And all His essence’s meanings are beyond the hidden,
So there is nothing but He, and that is my faith.
