1. He is everything existent, the One

2. He taught Adam all the names, knowledge entire
He is every born child and parent

3. We do not intend the perishing thing
Rather, we intend the Ever-Existent, the Willful

4. He is the True Existence, unseen mystery
Above all witnessed, beyond perceiver

5. He never gave birth, nor was He born
None comparable, no equal, no second

6. Nothing resembles Him, nor makes Him resemble
Exalted beyond knowing, no likeness afforded

7. All forms from nothingness come by His making
Their standing by His command, the One

8. His ordained decree, the fate determined ever
In the view of confessor and denier

9. Above the measures of creation is He
By His real being, clear and evident Seer

10. We came to be by His commanding existence
Like a glance from a worshipper's eye sincere

11. And the ignorant of His affair still have
This, but as an inert existence here

12. God is Greatest, none like Him
He gives and withholds, no distance peered
