My existence is the existence of all beings

وجودي وجود الكائنات وإنما

1. My existence is the existence of all beings
Yet the existence of all beings is my existence

١. وجودي وجود الكائنات وإنما
وجود جميع الكائنات وجودي

2. But they are other than me, and I am other than them
So understand my words and observe my witness

٢. ولكنهم غيري وإنيَ غيرهم
فحقق كلامي واعتبر بشهودي

3. There is one ancient existence from which overflows
Equally, the effusion of existence upon things

٣. وجود قديم واحد عنه فائض
سواء من الأشياء فيضة جود

4. It has not divided, God forbid, but rather it is absolute
It willed to appear to us with limits

٤. ولم ينقسم حاشاه بل هو مطلقٌ
أراد بأن يبدو لنا بقيود

5. So it manifested with what is in itself, it has not ceased
Imagining from the white there, and the black

٥. فلاح بما في نفسه هو لم يزل
يصوّر من بيض هناك وسود

6. And for the types of imaginations, all of them
There is no existence other than it, in ease or hardship

٦. وليس لأنواع التصاوير كلها
وجود سواه في شقاً وسعود

7. So it created things and it is their existence
Through it they exist, bounded by limits

٧. فقد أوجد الأشياء وهو وجودها
به وجدت محدودةً بحدود

8. And this is the consideration of the intellect, which has become
The basis on which rulings are made, without faltering

٨. وهذا اعتبار العقل وهو الذي غدت
تناط بها الأحكام دون نفود

9. And whoever realizes the existence, he
Sees it as existence in the firmest endurance

٩. ومن يتحقق بالوجود فإنه
يراه وجوداً في أجلِّ صمود

10. And does not see things as existing through themselves
Rather he sees them in bringing into being and annihilation

١٠. وليس يرى الأشياء موجودة بها
ولكن يراها في انتفا وجحود

11. It is the Light through which they have become clear and through which
They have become clear, and each keeps true to promises

١١. هو النور عنها قد أبان وعنه قد
أبانت وكلٌّ ذو وفاً بعهود

12. And each remains as it has been and has not ceased
To be eternal, and this is the most noble saying

١٢. وكلٌّ على ما كان فيه ولم يزل
قديماً وهذا قول أشرف قود

13. The words of our honorable forefathers have become
For us on our path, nurses whom we sucked their breasts and elbows.

١٣. مقالة آباءٍ لنا في طريقنا
كرامٍ رضعنا ثديَهم وجدود
