1. In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I begin with the names of the Lord of the Worlds

2. And with endless praise and abundant gratitude
And however much salutations and peace as blessing

3. Brought sincerely by Abdel Ghani
Upon the best of God's creation, Taha and his family

4. And his companions, and whoever followed them
And now this is a pearl I have strung in verse

5. For whoever strives to attain perfection
Take it with sincerity and be certain of it

6. And do not be heedless of its meaning
And adhere to it morning and evening

7. With it you will attain what you hope if you are a supplicant
And say in it "O God, fulfill my purposes

8. And with forgiveness, O Most Merciful, be gentle with me
And with mercy, forgive my sins, O Most Compassionate

9. And O King, make me content with Your decree
And purify my heart, O Most Holy, from desires

10. And in the Gathering, deliver me, O Most Peaceful, my advocate
And provide me security from evil, O Most Faithful

11. And guide me to the truth, O Guardian of all things
And with might, exalt my status, O Most Powerful

12. And restore the broken parts of me, O Most Compelling
And increase my gifts from You, O Most Proud

13. And make me forget evil, O Creator
And free me from the Fire, O Originator

14. And elevate my station, O Shaper of forms
And forgive my sins out of generosity, O Great Forgiver

15. And defeat my enemies with Your wrath, O Overpowering Subduer
And grant me guidance to goodness, O Giver of Gifts

16. And be generous with Your provision, O Great Provider
And open for me that which is commanded by You, O Opener

17. And take me as a submitted Muslim, O Withholder
And spread me wide and be gentle with me, O Reliever

18. And lower those who meant me harm, O Abaser
And raise me above adversaries, O Exalter

19. And swiftly humiliate those who slandered me, O Humiliator
And honor me, O Honorer of rank

20. Hear my complaint, O All-Hearing
You are All-Seeing of my state, O All-Seeing

21. And judge with what You are worthy of, O Most Just
And be my patron without others, O Most Upright

22. And deal gently with me, O Most Kind
And O All-Aware, my state was not hidden from You

23. I asked for patience from You, O Forbearing
For I have tremendous sins, O Tremendously Great

24. Help me, O Much-Forgiving, out of forgiveness
And enable me to be thankful, O Most Appreciative

25. And elevate my gifts from You, O Most Great
And raise me to excellence, O Most High

26. And preserve my heart, O Protector
And make the remembrance of You my nourishment, O Abaser

27. And be my sufficiency, O Accounter
And accomplish matters that worried me, O Most Majestic

28. And fulfill my honor from You in truth, O Most Generous
And be my confidant, O Watchful One

29. Answer my supplication, O Responder, graciously
And expand me, O All-Encompassing, for Your sake

30. And open wisdom to me, O Most Wise
And be affectionate to me with affection, O Most Loving

31. And glorify my qualities among people, O Most Glorious
And resurrect me as one delivered by You, O Raiser of the dead

32. And fulfill the witnessing of the heart in You, O All-Witnessing
And I entrust all my affairs to You, O Trustee

33. And protect me from enemies, O Most Strong
And make my heart steadfast in righteousness, O Everlasting

34. And increase Your gifts to me, O Master
And how much praise I owe You, O Most Praiseworthy

35. When will I ever finish counting, O All-Enumerating?
You began with kindness, O Originator of all

36. And return to us again with Your kindness, O Restorer
My heart revives in You, O Life-Giver, so give me life

37. And from it cause me to die, O Causer of Death, that which distracts me from You
And make my life pleasant, O Ever-Living One

38. And establish my affairs, O Self-Existing One, gently
And come to my aid, O Maker of existence from nothingness

39. And grant me my wishes, O Majestic One
And snatch my heart from strangers, O One and Only

40. And obliterate the finite self and keep the Eternal
And enable me to have power over good, O Powerful Doer of What He Wills

41. And make my hearing and sight attentive to You, O All-Forcing One
And bring forward my spiritual station, O Advancer

42. And delay evil from me, O Delayer, completely
And raise me to the highest of my spiritual ascent, O First

43. And uncover that which veils my heart, O Last
And make me manifest in Your command, O Manifest One

44. And lift my heedlessness and distraction, O Hidden One
And grant me authority in sincerity, O Ruler

45. And bestow lofty qualities upon me, O Most Exalted
And treat me with kindness, O Very Kind One

46. Upon me turn with forgiveness, O Oft-Returning
And hear my complaint, O Most Compassionate

47. And O Eternal, fulfill my need and wishes
And O Possessor of Sovereignty, give me victory over enemies

48. And make me cease needing others, O Inheritor
And lift the veil from my insight, O Lord of Majesty

49. And honor me and be proud of me, O Lord of Bounty
And apportion for me the religion and guidance, O Equitable One

50. And gather me to You in devotion, O Gatherer
And be my Enricher beyond all others, O Self-Sufficient from all else

51. And remove my poverty through You, O Enricher
I hoped in You, O Giver, so be generous with gifts

52. And prevent me from evil, O Preventer, protecting me
And protect me from all harm, O Creator of Harm

53. And benefit me and cover my faults, O Creator of Benefit
And remove ignorance and blindness, O Light

54. And make Your remembrance healing, O Guide
And grant wondrous inspirations to my heart, O Incomparable

55. And solve difficulties, O Everlasting through Your favor
And be my guide, O Most Rightly Guided, to my hopes

56. And provide the means of patience, O Most Patient
And I ask You, O God, O Creator of existence

57. And O Commander in both worlds, O Forbidder
O Raiser of the dead, record all they have done

58. So You may be the Requiter
By Your Most Beautiful Names, the Most Tremendous

59. Which Your prophet Taha related to us from You
And whatever manifestations have appeared from You

60. In every state, past, present, and to come
And whatever in the letters of existence

61. Your overflowing Light does not cease to contain
Answer me to that which I have called You, my Master

62. And accept from me, O Skillful Rhymer, my simple gift
And be for the one who invokes them a preserver

63. And answer him in all his intentions
And send blessings and peace every time and hour

64. Blessings and greetings beyond measure
And ennoble and honor with the best ennobling

65. And convey the most perfect honoring graciously
And prefer and extol with the best preferment

66. And complete the most perfect extolling perpetually increasing
And increase honor, glory, felicity, and loftiness of station

67. Everlastingly and sublimely in the world
And bless him as You choose and are pleased with

68. A blessing in abundance narrating the valleys
And elevate him higher and higher perpetually, in public and private

69. And give him happiness, grants, and victorious support
Upon Ahmad the Chosen One from the family of Hashim

70. And whoever came quenching thirst with guidance
And whom You honored existence by sending

71. And granted us the nearness of his advent
And Your good pleasure with all his family

72. And his companions together, hidden and open
And those who followed them in good in every era

73. And those in the wilderness who answered the caller
And the people of purity and truth in every doctrine of religion

74. And those who passed on in prior times
And include all the Muslims, their females

75. And males, obedient and disobedient
For all time, whenever the dawn greets the evening

76. And the days repeat after the nights
