1. Letters in their stillness is execution
And in their existence is assimilation

2. In the existence of the Truth, there is no other
So to Him belong peace and from Him, greetings

3. The assimilation of the letters of the universe in Him
Is stillness by which is blessing

4. So if they move, release them
And they become independent and their assimilation passes

5. And for this my Lord says to Him as long as
The night and day remain

6. So without stillness, there would have been no assimilation
For them in Him or establishment over them

7. The letters of the existents from the essence of the Truth
Are differing for them with Him and division

8. So if words are compiled
They are recited and their collection is speech

9. The word of the Truth so listen O son of fervor
And all else is falsehood, it is delusions

10. Exalted is the Lord by whom the land stood
Not by knowledge, and the knowledgeable became upright
