1. You raised my status as a favor and grace
And spoke to me with knowledge, wisdom and loyalty

2. And from You I filled my palm, not from wealth
All praise belongs to You, Lord of generosity, glory and sublimity

3. You bless whom You will and withhold
The bride of manifestation lights up my heart

4. My vessel is filled with knowledge
And I hope, my Master, O Lord of Grace

5. My God, Creator, Protector and Refuge
In hardship and ease, to You I complain

6. If I was of concern to You in this matter
And gained this fortune through Your goodness

7. Then I care not for my faults if You accept me
My God, if You disappoint or spurn me

8. Then who can I hope for or intercede with?
I am a slave, in every state enslaved

9. Not a free man in comfort or hardship
Yours is the command, in deprivation or giving

10. My God, though my sins are grave and piled
Your pardon for my sin is grander and wider

11. If worldly life takes its course
And days expose ignorance in the slave

12. I'm not hopeless, rather say perhaps, perhaps
My God, if You grant my soul its request

13. My comfort belongs to You, and my distress
From You I saw my intoxication and sobering

14. Grant that though I was late in my stride
My God, You see my state, poverty and need

15. And You hear my intimate supplications
With Your love my garment is dyed in the wilderness

16. My skin still bears the marks of longing
And my heart is stabbed by its burning for both states

17. My God, sever not my hope, sway it not
So my heart in the pasture of Your kindness may graze

18. My wall on the foundations of Your bounty is built
My heart still tends to remembering

19. And I call out whenever fervor urges me
My God, save me from Your torment, I'm

20. A weak slave, fearful, submitting to You
I raised my story to Your lofty essence

21. May You accept my anguish in closeness now
If with oneness my proof is sealed when I die

22. My God, so make me sense my proof's reception
When the grave becomes my dwelling and bed

23. I'm a slave thrown to hoping amidst deep darkness
The earth of my soul furrowed in love

24. I see no excuse or shred of proof
My God, if You torment me a thousand proofs

25. My rope of hope in You will not be cut
I asked You to pardon my sins in grace

26. For I have greatly relied on You
So by the Chosen Intercessor I pray and plead

27. My God, let me taste the coolness of Your pardon on a day
When neither wealth nor children avail

28. Talk of my passion for You still spreads
And You bought the soul when I was selling

29. So find me safety from You, be not absent
My God, if You don't shepherd me, I'm lost

30. And if You do shepherd me, I'm not lost
My praise is from all of me, by my tongues

31. For each of Your deeds toward me You made good
I came with a sin that turned me from You

32. My God, if You don't pardon the ungrateful
Then who can the sinner in passion enjoy?

33. He is the slave whom through Your favor attained rank
After You gave him the cup of love to drink

34. On You I relied, I did not seek to remain
My God, if I fell short in seeking piety

35. I'm nothing but knocking on Your favor's doors
I repelled the recklessness of love from me

36. And in You a youth I became, unto You unpaid
So if I stumble and my sin becomes grave

37. My God, carry my stumbling and erase my shame
For I'm a confessor, fearful, pleading

38. Your lover, when he found no artifice for it
It's inconceivable that he'd be busy with another

39. And here I am, desiring Your favor, not turning from You
My God, if You disappoint or spurn me

40. What can I do, O Lord, or how can I make?
Your beauty, stunning in its radiancy

41. From it jewels appeared and treasures
Shall I remain while from it manifestations arose?

42. My God, companion of love's night vigilant
Supplicating, weeping while the neglectful sleep

43. My status through attachment to You became lofty
So I brought out from my being's shells wonders

44. And my partisans of realization sought noble aims
Each hoping for Your bestowal, desiring

45. Lest by destructive sin I become cast down
A people enamored with Your majesty

46. Each one annihilated, hoping for union
So replace for us the lack of guidance with its perfection

47. My God, by the right of the Hashimi and his family
And sanctity of the righteous, to You submitting

48. Enlighten the time of the rightly guided imam
And bring him out from the worries of existence and its sorrows

49. And deprive not the ardent from attaining their desire
My God, by the right of the Chosen and his cousin

50. For Your greatest mercy, and in eternity I hope
Your appearance to me, I see it as a sign

51. That You are the Bestower upon me of bounty
And if the strangers seek vengeance from me

52. My God, may my hope give me security
And the ugliness of my sins disfigure me

53. The position of hoping for union is what
Set my heart to nourish itself by devotion

54. And my tongue in praising with it is nourished
My God, so if You pardon, Your pardon is my savior

55. And the presence of the righteous, to You submitting
Leader of guidance, I follow behind you

56. And my heart is ringing from its fervent craving
I've remained beseeching with glowing innards

57. My God, so expand me upon the religion of Ahmad
Humbling, reverent, obedient to You submitting

58. I raised my hands to the sky of gifts
And came to hope for the blossoms of Your verdant garden

59. I witnessed this door in every scene
Deprive me not, my God and Master

60. Of his greatest intercession, for that is the intercessor
He is the Chosen, Taha Muhammad

61. The prophet of guidance, his face the sun that blinded
Your peace from the servant al-Ghani, his hand

62. And bless him as long as one calls You Unified
And the righteous whisper to You, bowing down
