1. Her beauty is pure radiance
Though it may seduce the crowds

2. Fortunes pass, wealth fades
All things lead to oblivion

3. Yet her lovers seek perfection
The debauched delight in her

4. Long, high, exalted, precious
For delights and bliss

5. We are signs of her countenance
Though we know not her essence

6. Morn, eve, dawn, night
Who dares approach her?

7. Her likeness cannot be grasped
Who can claim to comprehend her?

8. Gleam, trek, erupt, sigh
The bird of passion fulfilled

9. Bestow peace oh Lord upon the Prophet
Ahmad, the glorious guide

10. Surpass, pound, march, endure
A heart enamored with love

11. From him, servant al-Ghani loved
Exalted glory and stature

12. Burn, yearn, meet, taste
Whenever the doves coo

13. And upon his family and companions
Who attained his noble manner

14. Radiance, aura, majesty, allure
All who obeyed his call

15. And his kin and in-laws
Dawn's radiance cannot match theirs

16. Lost, awed, rapt, enthralled
By their light we are guided
