1. I am the one written in fate
The dog cannot escape the wedding feast

2. The tables of man are laid out
And the kindness fills the Arabs and the Persians

3. And all are bestowed upon them through them
Of every kind that was, or breed

4. If the shackle of existence fell from a being
Then that is snow melted in the sun

5. And if the soul casts off its reins
To its Lord it comes out of captivity

6. A precious pearl in its sea
Of which it says to others, my soul

7. And words from it speak to it
Veils in the mind and the senses

8. It has essences and attributes
As numerous as when in confusion

9. And the one with revelation saw one thing
In tomorrow or was in the past

10. None other than that hidden One
Floating in a sea of oblivion
