1. Everything is a black thread
Its length in knowledge is stretched

2. It appears to me a white thread
It is the command of God, dawn leads

3. A predetermined fate still ordained as
My Lord said in the Quran, the One

4. So I left eating and drinking for Him
Thus my fast forever does not lack

5. Rather God feeds me as
He quenches my thirst, from Him help comes

6. And now my whole self stays with Him
Where my whole self cannot be found

7. So understand the saying and realize it, succeed
With what the Eternal pointed to
