1. She stands by herself for her people
In her cup there is neither cup nor drink

2. A wine that takes away minds and destroys
Everything for everyone who faces her

3. Bring her here, O cupbearer, and leave the rest
For the rest are the ones that destroy her

4. Do not say ignorantly that she is the universe
Rather, the universe is a thing derived from her

5. By her command "Be!" and it became beside her
And beside her its affirmation denies her

6. Nothing is with her, and with everything
She is, so understand if you are a perceptive prophet

7. She guides with her whom she willed
So she removes conditioning and likening

8. And misguides whom she willed, so submit
Her command over you and necessitate transcendence

9. And follow the Law submissively and seek nearness
Through her worship that she approves

10. No one shows you the clear truth but her
Leave aside arguing and deception

11. Stand by her always, strive
Sincerely in serving, you will come near to her

12. For you will see her through her, though you are not with her
Rather, you are like a veil over her

13. While she is not veiled, so realize
Through annihilation in subsistence, and you are in her presence

14. I have given you my advice if you are one of those
Whom she enabled to accept advice through her

15. Do not suppose that divine oneness is rationally conceivable
And beware of claiming that, you fool

16. Verily, reason was originally a foundation for the Law
While the Law in it became self-evident

17. Then the Law in its ruling dispensed with it
Since divine oneness through reason is blindness

18. And it is polytheism if you reflect upon it
It has been hidden from you, so seek illumination

19. Surely, the divine oneness of every reason, if not
Through the Law, is not valid

20. Like Iblis, he affirmed divine oneness rationally
Yet abandoned his Lord's command, corrupting

21. His divine oneness is not acceptable
Even if he is an erudite scholar

22. Since he rebelled against his Lord's command, and
Persisted upon what he was prohibited from

23. So he is a heretic; beware
A trait he did not cease pursuing

24. Saying, "I do not prostrate to other than You"
Out of wonder and confusion in the command

25. Just as the heretics spoke to one heedless
Deceivingly about the Law

26. They claim divine oneness, the divine oneness of Iblis
They see rulings as something hated

27. So upon them is eternal damnation, and upon them
Is the curse of Allah, if I was asked this
