1. We both exist in this realized being
He is the One, the Unique, the Absolute

2. At first He is the Creator where there is nothing but Him
And then to us He appears other and creates

3. So neither Lord nor servant when the servant does not exist
And servant without Lord, with Him enclosed in mystery

4. And they are not two that we know them together
As is said by one ignorant when he speaks

5. For He who received is the Lord alone
To Him belong the essence, the names, He is the Real

6. And you are the fortunate, submissive, faithful believer whom
To you belongs faith, O you who are granted success

7. Or else He is the servant from whom He is absent
With Him his Lord denies or affirms him

8. And that is the state of the heedless, foremost in misery
And for them there is no enduring covenant and pact

9. Blessed is the One Master and His servants are many
And the Master is the Many, the Separator

10. As He said, "You cannot enumerate Him in words"
So repent to Him, and read what makes real
