1. My knowledge is created, and it
Does not befit the Ancient Lord my Creator.

2. Therefore it appeared at every time
In a form that brings joy to the boon companion.

3. If we contemplate its disciplines,
In every crooked and straight path,

4. And that it is all imperfect
Before the presence of the Lofty, Pure, Great Unseen.

5. We said that every correct saying is from one
Who considers the created being as that nonexistent one.

6. And that its preparedness appeared from Him
For it, hoping for acceptance from the Generous One.

7. And in consideration of the Truth we said every part of it is wrong,
And the description in it is blameworthy.

8. The Truth exalted is He who
By Himself, without any other, is Knowing.

9. So by the Truth we knew surrender to Him
Is our Islam, and our hearts from us are sincere.

10. And we by the knowledge which He Himself
Knows, we know it, O Perceptive One.
