1. Cling to the unseen of the unseen and leave all else
Nothing else, to how long will you be in the garb of affliction

2. Did not the caller say to you I am your Lord
And you said to Him without doubt, Yes indeed

3. You forgot the covenants taken for Him
Upon you the nights of the valleys in a time long passed

4. Stand here, O travelers to righteousness
For righteousness is the essence of the goal when it becomes clear

5. Beware, wipe the eye of hearts clean of specks
With it you are filled from Him and the cover is lifted

6. And remove the fetters of reason from images
Formed by the Eternal of varied beauty

7. He is the Truth not you though you all
Are the imagined falsehood transcended by Him

8. You say we know not our state nor see
With our sight but occurrences come into view

9. You spoke truthfully, the unseen of unseens clothed
Upon you the horizons of His eye so they changed

10. And sights strayed from Him and insights strayed
When you disobeyed imagining

11. If you had stood by His command
By it and feared Him sincerely, He would have turned

12. So Glory to Him who is pleased with a servant if He wills
He pleases him with abundant good

13. And if He wills He is angered and it is a matter predetermined
On each person distinguished in detail

14. Realities of knowledge without causes decreed
By the Ancient that actualized first

15. So be submitting to Allah your Lord and be steadfast
You will find Him Merciful, Bestower of Favors

16. And you are His servant, your duty is satisfaction
And you have no place with Him to see for yourself an entrance

17. So surrender to Him in safety and be turning
To His commands and leave prohibitions recited

18. And beware ask not why or say
I want such from Him nor propose nor

19. And be like the leading masters who passed sincerely to God
They did not deviate from righteousness, they are the highest leaders
