1. We are the knowledge of God in God, and none
Of us has existence except God alone

2. We are His known things in His knowledge
And we have thereby honor and existence

3. Say not God brought us into being, nor
That we're existent truth with limits sure

4. We, O son of this age, are things to perish
Since old for vanishing we pacts did cherish

5. Glorious is God's face that we associate
Him with existence, staying power or steadfast state

6. Like lightning we swiftly disappear
Then for a flash appear, then re-adhere

7. Thus does God mention us with
Many aspects, not fixed or stiff

8. So know us to know yourselves, the same
As us; and shun all disbelief and shame

9. None but He who knew all creation has
Mention, whether black men or white race

10. For nothing is outside of Him, every being
Returns from knowledge back to knowing

11. All are in Him and nothing is for them
Sheer existence, void, pure to Him belong

12. “Vast”, said He, “All-Knowing is our Lord”
His mercy encompassed all spirit horde

13. He who believes the truth I have just said
Attains stations of felicity widespread

14. And he who denies is more wretched than
The she-camel's hamstringer Thamud clan

15. And he is God's knowledge too, like us
Sent down for mention, no ascending thus
