1. Pray to God against the sciences of theology
And purify yourself and enter into Islam

2. Submit religion to the speech that God has
Revealed for it is the best speech

3. It is our clear Quran so believe
In that which is in it with submission

4. And seek understanding from your God in it
For clarification is up to Him for comprehension

5. And know the Sunnah that is proven from
The master of messengers, the best of mankind

6. And contemplate what your Lord has said about it
You will find the truth and growing propriety

7. And if you do not understand then be a believer not
One who doubts with your imaginative intellect

8. And make patience a provision for you until
God opens it with bestowal

9. And if He does not open then it suffices you
That you are the esteemed, honored believer

10. And beware the opinions of the people of intellects
Who followed what the people of ambiguities say

11. Know that the science of theology is pure speech
In explaining incidents and bodies

12. It is a wounding of religion, nothing in it is an evident
Matter to the perceiver other than the high

13. The intellect's sight above it is the sight of evil
And in it is the destruction of that system

14. Where is the light of faith from the light of an intellect
Observing with imagination in the rulings

15. Indeed the people of faith are in the light of the unseen
While the people of intellect are all in darkness

16. The intellects envision something far
That appears between bringing into being and annihilation

17. With evidence they deduce its guidance
While it is a delusion tending towards demise

18. So if evidence comes that negates it
And minds discard it into ambiguity

19. Unlike faith in the unseen decisively
For it guides to guidance completely

20. Imitate God O son of my people and imitate
The messengers of God, the most truthful of people

21. If you are a believer in your Lord submit
To the sciences of the dominant Knower

22. Do not think evidence guides to it
Or the sleepy see it awakened

23. It is for the intellect a ladder to meanings
By which to ascend to the lofty

24. Be content in your imitating faith with
God and the Prophet of complete trust

25. Do not abandon purely imitating your law
Free of the impurities of confusion

26. How can you know the intellect's knowing God
And its comprehension of His categories?

27. Your created intellect is a worshipper from you created
For you it makes evident temptation for the masses

28. How long will you be this way in arrogance?
Behold death hastening determination

29. So beware ruling with your intellect in what
You do not know of momentous matters

30. Do not delve with intellects into that and remain
A believer compliant to attain the goal

31. Perhaps the light is the light of unseen faith
That reveals creation in you with inspiration

32. So you see what is beyond intellects and know
What you had been most subtle about in sleep

33. This, this is the law of Taha
The seal of prophets, the best seal

34. Blessings from God upon him
Every time paired with peace

35. No breeze blew and no branches swayed
Leaning to the cooing of doves
