1. What are these bodies and forms that we have,
Except signs and verses from the Lord?

2. The words of our Creator - be His will in you -
All creation, O you who can see,

3. Senses, intellect and a Lord beyond grasp of senses and mind-
Thought is confounded in trying to reach Him.

4. Levels of being are but one reality,
Your mundane life, and the grave, lessons to ponder.

5. Say He is other, then distinct, yet still a part of His oneness,
Essence, and behold through Him clear insight.

6. Truth is eternal truth in all its degrees,
The levels are one, all else passes away.

7. First, God, no second to Him, eternal,
Last, God, no end to Him remains.

8. Apparent, God, all else unreal,
Hidden, God, His mystery cannot be known.

9. Be gnostic of God through us, not through yourself
In what we've told you - believe, O human!

10. My words stem from Quran, the Prophet's ways,
God's self-disclosure, demolisher of doubts.

11. Light upon light, God guides whom He will
To His light, wherever destiny dictates.
