1. The unseen has clothed me in fine garb,
And my heart is attached to it like an earring.

2. A face shining from behind the veil of nothingness,
It is the revealed and the veiled.

3. Its beauty has astonished minds, so they were confused,
It took all with its appearance and gave.

4. It appears at times and at others it is adorned,
So we see in existence, clenching and expansion.

5. It composed the creation of the two worlds,
Its command always holding the necklace together.

6. Whoever saw it, found in what he saw,
And whoever saw crookedness in it, erred.

7. It is a sun, and anything else is shadows,
It is a full moon covering the darkness of others.

8. It perfected the matter, so it is wise in judgment,
In all affairs, a solution and consolidation.

9. O close in meeting, distant in avoidance!
Why do you keep company with some and abandon others?

10. We were guided to you, beyond others,
Now make for us a share of the matter.

11. And attend to gazes and hearts
Muddled by illusions, form and dot.

12. You are you, and judgment is something
From you, and it is everything, counting and consolidation.

13. The heart entered the monastery of Suleima's love,
To sip from meeting her, pure wine.

14. It saw maidens then emerging
From seas of beauty residing on a shore.

15. Gazers from the gazelle with sleepy eyes
Languid from staying up nights.

16. In bodies like spears
That kill whoever passionately loves them.

17. Every doe whose scent blows perfume,
However she walked with rise and fall.

18. God's command to be obeyed in good manner,
Drawing with love in the heart a line.

19. A full moon bent on a pliant branch,
In a dune preventing her from walking.

20. She is the rising sun, and the moon of nightfall,
With her we wasted compliance and discontent.

21. Her mouth circulated Sahih al-Bukhari,
And I am a Muslim with my heart pledged.

22. Indeed, to her belongs the name Abdel Ghani now,
As the cosmos gathered it randomly.

23. She is the phantom of imagination in the light of Taha,
Master of Messengers splitting mysteries.

24. So prayers be upon him, his family,
And companions where the wind brushed a lock.

25. Or a pigeon sang atop the boughs
And the fever's lightning slithered about.
