1. The eye of existence does not sleep,
So observe what the days reveal.

2. Yet the mouths of beings speak,
While we are a people whose understandings are deaf.

3. We have a state in the steps of nearness,
And we have a station in the far reaches of perfection.

4. Glory, pride and honor belong to us,
As do merits, might and reverence.

5. Through us, gnosis is known,
Until the true light shines and darkness hides.

6. The true men are from us and about us,
Prose is preserved in guidance and order.

7. Degrees of virtue are attributed to us,
In the wilds and honor is linked to us.

8. Whatever knowledge we impart, that is knowledge,
And whatever we say, those are the words.

9. What we have is certainty and truth,
While what others have is delusions.

10. Upon us is an eye from the All-Dominant,
Whoever enjoys His care will not be wronged.

11. It is enough for the deniers that they are deprived
Of our sweet renewal where sorrows have increased.

12. In them is perplexity and excessive confusion
If they see us while darkness has overcome them.

13. Such is their state while we are as we are,
Not caring, and peace.
