1. This existence, this One, the One
None can share with Him in describing Him

2. And whoever claims existence has transgressed
Sharing in divinity, while God does not beget

3. Whence came to him this existence, did he not
Reflect in the eye of what he finds?

4. Encompassing all things, said our Creator
And He has encompassed this pretentious claimant, the Eternal

5. Wrongful is he in claiming existence with God
To whom belongs everlasting Light that guides

6. He is the Near, Responder, Lord without
End or beginning, with Him no end

7. God is this alone, and by Him
His actions appeared, receiving support from Him

8. He is existence without anything mixing with Him
For all things are vanishing, depending on Him

9. The Real Manifest, nothing appeared with Him
And the Real Hidden, so understand O you of reason

10. Be without "you" in unity with existence, and do not
Be with your ego, be a shadow holding to Him

11. Leave the sayings of the wise and take
What God relies on in the Quran

12. Do not interpret texts from their literal meanings
Nor distort, take directly what comes
