One who saw the sun rise on a stick

Fulfilling hopes swiftly

7. We spent it in bliss and union
Filling it with terrible sins

8. When good fortune brought glad tidings
Unrestrained, with no signs of distress

9. May God destroy one who wastes such a time
Free of all that troubles and spies
