1. And as if in the water snakes
Swimming, set loose in the waterways
١. وَكأَنَّ المياهَ فيها ثَعابينُ
لَجَينِ تَبَعَّثَت في السواقي
2. And as if the pebbles in the water's glow
Were pearls set loose on banks of snow
٢. وَكأَنَّ الحصباءَ في رونِق الماء
سَنا الدُرِّ في بَياض التَراقي
