His intestines, grief and separation

3. With burning sighs it is extinguished, and my sadness
The dove with the fever's affliction, not water

4. He met in the neighborhood, none orphaned
Except meeting, and nothing else is meeting

5. Speech melts to their mention, and it is what
Pains him, so it is his disease and remedy

6. The burning winds in the night journey
Toward the fever, so its flames call out

7. When the drink of 'Uqayq was recalled, tears streamed
For he told it, and tears are blood

8. O beloved Wadi Al-'Uqayq, and blessed
Are the shadows of Al-Duh and Al-Afya

9. And the preserves among the palm trees were perfumed
By the meadows' breeze and open spaces

10. It is as if in every land of Al-Hima
There is a singer who sang, or a singing garden

11. No hunter can be sated except when
Her blue eye glimpses it from it

12. And when the prayer caller appears, rays
Emerge from those domes and illumination

13. Covering the creation in its darkness, its light
Unites every heart and binds kinship

14. When pilgrims meet and come
Like the full moon is their joyousness

15. Their moan rises and intense yearning
It turned to cooing and croaking

16. It spread while they were dead, the same soul of pleasure
So they became, by their success, alive

17. They hurried to the meeting after
Singing departed and vigor passed

18. Their elders, the day of arrival, their greeting
And their greeting, the day of departure, crying

19. There the clouds rain wishes
To quench hopes while they are thirsty

20. And the bestowal of dew covers them
Granting them satisfaction and a cloak

21. Sanctuaries of satisfaction, behind them
Only acceptance and Paradise as a reward

22. They left a garden they settled
The fruit of satisfaction, and assumed what they wished

23. Blessed is he who sacrificed his home willingly
For him is the dawn and the dusk

24. He did not know, did the caravan depart and hasten
On the journey, or is their travel slow

25. The abode of guidance and spacious dwelling
Where revelations used to descend

26. And dwelling of the best of all creation
With The God, and whoever has insight

27. For him, when creatures are gathered in distress
A pool from which humanity drinks, and a banner

28. And means and intercession we will be saved tomorrow
When horrors engulf us

29. Guide of the wilderness, when they tasted
Its vanities and wandering desires

30. They walked blindly in the darkness of passion
Then guidance shone for them

31. He saw and guided the disjointed matter
The insight of his heart was blind

32. Guidance spread, so he freely responded
The call of his religion, men and women

33. The path was clear, so none disobeyed
After the path was clear

34. And after their dark confusion
The Prophet's guidance was a clear proof

35. It distinguished between misguidance and guidance
Brothers, fathers, and sons

36. They became two groups, grace and misery
The truth uncovered what was covered

37. A wonder - is there any doubt in that light
That made minds unanimously see?

38. Free souls were martyred for it
They reached Gardens and bliss

39. Obstinate tribes fell into Hell
Overcome by misery and affliction

40. Then the matter was set right and guidance clear
No objection, all equal in it

41. By day, when darkness is unveiled
Can beholders be equal when they see it hiding?

42. Like the sun at noon whose lights
Are raised, and the dark night?

43. Were it not for passion covering the clear truths
It would be distinguished by study

44. Among them is the pebble's glorification in his palm
And likewise food, and water overflowed from it

45. And the greetings of stones on his path
He dug them out, though they were solid and mute

46. And the trees' response when he called them
They raced to him as if they were water

47. And their return at his command to their places
Alike were the staff and the young shoots

48. And likewise the eye of Qatadah, he repaired it
After it dropped out, cured of sickness

49. It became like his best iris, he sees with it
Distant things as if it were bright blue

50. And Ali, when he called him at Khaybar
He came to him while his eye was clouded

51. So he spat in it and it became for him
In its time, healed and recovered

52. And Habib ibn Aswad on the day of Badr we protected
So for him in the house was an illuminated eye

53. And the unharmed sword, though the one who forged it
Created things however He wills

54. And likewise the treaty of Hudaybiyyah in which
No darkness or doubts played any role

55. O you who seek what cannot be fully described
No effort can reach depicting it

56. So poetry in praise falls short, be sparing
Lest your explicit words be improper

57. Can poets reach anything, while Surahs
Described His attributes, and poets?

58. The matter is too great to be encompassed
That is not what the eloquent can attain

59. May Allah send blessings as long as the breeze blows
Above the prairie and the clouds meet

60. And thunder cracks and lightning flashes
And trees rustle with leaves
