1. The month of fasting has passed, and I wonder,
Tomorrow on the Day of Resurrection, who will testify for me?

2. For if my deeds are sound for others,
Tomorrow their deeds will be worthless for me.

3. I have wasted precious hours of goodness
Through my shortcomings and sweet dawns.

4. When I stand up, my sins weigh heavily upon me.
Does any escape save those who tread lightly?

5. Is it any use that my tears flow
Over what has passed, sprinkling like small raindrops?

6. Yet my great sins have left me
No refuge save my Lord’s pardon tomorrow.

7. I seek protection from the evil of my deeds
In His grace, for none despairs of Allah’s mercy.

8. I hope in my faithful tawhid and love of the Prophet,
For this is my provision today and tomorrow.

9. I will ever increase, no matter how long
My lifespan, in delight in them.

10. Save me, my God, with Your pardon,
For the arrow of my sins has reached its target.

11. I find no rest, and sin has shut off
Every way but to the Intercessor tomorrow as my refuge.
