1. I crave a moon that passed by transient
With grace for every smitten one it has won
١. أَهْوَى قَمَراً مَرَّ بِنَا مُجْتازا
بِاللُّطْفِ لِكُلِّ مُهْجَةٍ قَدْ حَازَا
2. It never displayed its army of beauty openly
Until it made eyes for it to wink
٢. ما اسْتَعْرَضَ جَيْشَ حُسْنِهِ عَارِضُه
حَتَّى جَعَلَ الطَّرْفَ لَهُ غَمَّازا
