1. Oh neighbor of the beloved village,
Your union brings joy to my heart,
2. And a house brings us together,
With generosity and spaciousness,
3. Yearn, oh longing one, for that fresh spring,
And thirst for that sweet fountain,
4. Oh my yearning for a life
That has passed in its shade and spaciousness,
5. And days without blame
That have passed gently without roughness,
6. When her nights are mentioned
The heart is stirred and sleepless,
7. And the heart of her lover tells
The story of its damp breeze,
8. So Sa’d sings in mentioning it
And praise the riding company,
9. And the veiled one with a smiling face
Tears through the darkness of barriers,
10. My two dwellings are like moons
In my eyes and in my heart,
11. And a gazelle fleeing with the caravan
Pleased not by the soil.
