1. Do not seek sustenance from a people
Who have no kindness or mercy.
١. لا تَطْلُبنَّ القُوتَ مِنْ مَعْشَرٍ
مَا عِنْدَهُمْ لُطْفٌ ولا رَحْمَهْ
2. Those who have no surplus in their flesh
Have no flesh in their surplus.
٢. مَنْ لَيْسَ في لُحْمهُمُ فَضْلةً
فَلَيْسَ فِي فَضْلِهِمُ لَحْمَه
