١. لُبُّ العاني بِصَدِّهِ بَلْبَلَهُ
وَالقَلْبُ بِنارِ هَجْرِهِ أَشْعَلَهُ
2. If my love denied and the heart disavowed,
Oh my tears, keep asking about it.
٢. إِن أَنْكَرَ وَجْدِي وَعَنَا القَلْبُ بِهِ
هَا دَمْعيَ سائِلٌ لِكَيْ يَسأَلَهُ
