1. The wars of flowers erupted not
Between gardens of jasmine
١. قَامَتْ حُروبُ الزَّهْرِ ما
بَيْنَ الرِّياضِ السُّنْدُسِيَّهْ
2. And armies of thorns came to raid
The rose's tender garden
٢. وَأَتَتْ جُيوشُ الآسِ تَغْ
زُو رَوْضَةَ الوَرْدِ الجَنِيَّهْ
3. But they were defeated because
The rose's thorns were strong
٣. لَكِنَّهَا كُسِرَتْ لأَن
نَ الوَرْدَ شَوْكَتُهُ قَوِيَّهْ
