7. You have the liberty to manage it by a measure for a period
And manage it without a measure

8. No conflict remains in the canal after

What you wished of courtesy and veneration

11. And it came to you bearing from his shade
Sweet talk and good news

12. He is not satisfied with the affection you foster for him

13. Possible in the company of the generous king
In it for Egypt the concerns of nations

14. The circle of friends remembered you and renewed
In it for your covenant the best traces

15. They called you to honor Egypt in you and choose
A people you raised above the planets

16. They dedicate to you the eminent in lineage and
Title and kinship to it and its emblem

17. The honor of testimony after you deserved it
After the people's admission and acknowledgement

18. I keep the relationships and companionship that came
With the harmony of morals and ideas

19. And the dearest covenant to its preservers
Is what came to them from a willing chosen one

20. And knowledge is what the days revolved around, not
What came in books and epics

21. And if you possess the intimacy of the strong
Then you have possessed the support of fates

22. I only sold it out of free affection
And for you is the reward for it and the buyer's profit

23. They carried resentment against your favor with him
Like the resentment of the wary upon fate

24. You pleased them yet they blamed you, and had you pleased them
They would have put you in the place of the righteous

25. And they disapproved what, had they obtained some of it
They would have flown with what they attained like every aviator

26. Do they charge you with harm while they
Do not carry the consequences of harm?

27. And they expose you to what exhausted them
In every turmoil and conflict

28. The reckoning was heavy on them so they wavered
Between blaming you and apologizing

29. And they sought supporters from those who disliked you
For you to see him the most loyal supporter

30. They demand vengeance from you yet they did not
Regard your ongoing favor in place of vengeance

31. Leave what they claim for they will not
Return to a policy they had as most failing traders

32. And judge, for the ministry of agents has no
Order, nor the ministry of the free

33. Dawn emerged with what it eased, and there are no
Secrets in the light of dawn

34. Opening peace with your followed opinion not
Opening tumult with the potent legions

35. I bid you farewell with yearning until tomorrow
And you shall praise the consequences of the tide

36. And you shall return to your protector successful
