1. With composure I can express
For your awe-inspiring grace has dazzled the heavens

2. And you stand with such dignity, the earth itself
Nearly sways, so full of affection

3. I see you, and my eyes are full of your beauty
Making my heart completely infatuated

4. I love you in awe, and my love remains
Upon hope, strengthened and reinforced

5. My eyes desire you near them
And my innermost being has not stopped thinking of you

6. I accompany Egypt striving for peace
It is enough that its war has succeeded

7. For your Lord did not make you rule Egypt
Except to restore its glory and determination

8. And so when you took charge of it alone
The well-being of its people was your guarantee

9. You did not burden them with toil, rather
You eased their most difficult affairs, so they became easy

10. You travel among the villages like flowing streams
Making time for each region

11. You divided its blessings with justice
Not leaving any place devoid of traces

12. And you taught the Nile loyalty until
It observed its covenant with us and protected it

13. And if it betrayed the country, you would forbid it
May you be blessed and grow more graceful

14. You have refined the morals of the nights
So they have returned with even more affection
