What I said and emulate the example

4. I am neither miserly nor extravagant
Except when I help men

5. God bless the youth who controlled
Their soul, not lost in vanity

6. You only seek knowledge through your wealth
To attain glory and perfection through it

7. Become renowned for valor, you are able
To unsheathe the spear and sword for Egypt

8. Only valor makes the brave man noble
Tested in war and among heroes

9. You are like Ibn al-Mu'tazz in merit and manners
And like Harun in determination and generosity

10. A fresh stream that meets goodness everlasting
A minaret rising lofty and tall
